Hey! I'm Victoria and I am The Vet Who Bakes. As the name suggests, I am a real vet and I have a huge passion for baking! This passion started when I was young, probably when I discovered that I had an extremely sweet tooth. My first memories of baking were when I just had to add an egg to the pre-made packet of chocolate cake mix! Since then, I have been doing everything from scratch, experimenting with new design techniques and expanding my flavours of cakes and traybakes.

I started my business in the first lockdown of 2020 when I found myself furloughed and stuck in the house with nothing to do. I began baking for my neighbours when my friend suggested that I start my own company. I thought she was mad, but a few years on and it has grown into a successful small business. Working as a vet can be stressful at times, and I find losing myself in the kitchen for hours is a great way to unwind.
